Pride Week and Parade

Boone PTA is excited to celebrate Pride Week with the Boone community!
There are several theme days throughout the week to get everyone in the spirit
MONDAY 3.23 - “Be You-tiful” Day - Wear something that makes you uniquely YOU! A favorite color, favorite hobby, book character, animal or interest. This day celebrates individuality and reminds students that being yourself is something to be proud of.
TUESDAY 3.24 - "Kindness Counts Day" - Students wear shirts with positive messages or school spirit shirts to show your Boone Bear pride!
WEDNESDAY 3.25 - "Mix-It-Up Day" - It's wacky Wednesday, dress a little silly, wear inside-out shirts, mixed patterns, mismatched socks, crazy hair — whatever feels fun and unexpected. A fun way to show that things don’t have to “match” to belong.
THURSDAY 3.26 - "Colorful Community Day" - Wear tie-dye to celebrate the colorful and unique community we create together.
FRIDAY 3.27 - PRIDE PARADE AND PICNIC AFTER SCHOOL - "Rainbow Remix Day" - Wear your favorite color, or as many colors as you can. Together, we’ll show that just like a rainbow, our differences make our school brighter and stronger.
Students can pick up some swag on the way into school the Tuesday after spring break.
Then, we will be holding our first Pride Parade and Party on Friday, March 27. Shaved Ice Island will be there with free snow cones! Meet us on the blacktop at 3:30 PM to get the party started.
