The Boone Elementary PTA organizes events and activities throughout the year to raise fundsfor student enrichment, staff appreciation, and community building.

Here are some facts about what your membership and donations can provide.

• The PTA provides welcome gifts and mini grants to New-to-Boone teachers!
• The Boone PTA provides reimbursement to teachers for out of pocket school supplies and other classroom materials.
• Boone PTA Room Parents put up decorations inside the school three times a year on every teacher and staff door!
• The PTA Yearbook Chair along with 5th grade students collect photos, organize and create the yearbook design.
• Boone PTA Grounds Team maintains the PEAS garden, for community and student access to fresh veggies in addition to the PEAS grant. They also create and maintain the pollinator garden and meadow at Boone. Ground team repaints the bear paws on the sidewalks and ensures that the front entryway gardens have appealing, native greenery year-round.
• Boone PTA programs provides catered breakfast and drinks for events like Tears and Cheers, Veterans Day, Senior Walk, the Tree Folks tree giveaway and many more.
• PTA Programs Chair provides breakfast or lunch on specific days for the staff - during classroom setup, staff appreciation week, teacher appreciation week and after big events and holidays.
• The 5th grade chair raises money for the 5th grade graduation celebration and helps plan/coordinate with 5th grade teachers for their field trip each year.
• Student Enrichment purchases books for ALL students on literacy night as well as sponsoring the entertainment for Multicultural Night and anti-bullying assemblies.
